Image and Web Resources:

 - Flickr 

     * Be sure you are on the ADVANCED SEARCH page! 

     * Type in your keyword(s)

     * Then scroll down where it has the Creative Commons options and click " Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content " 

     * And finally, you can click the SEARCH button!

 - Creative Commons Search

     * This is the way to access Google images that are Creative Commons licensed (i.e., not copyrighted and okay to use on the web)

     * Type in your keywords in the "Enter Search Query" space and click Google (Image)

     * NOTE: You can also access Flicker Creative Commons images through this portal

 - DiscoveryStreaming

     * Log in with your Username and Password

     * Once you've typed in your keyword and clicked 'Search', you can Narrow Your Results to Images only on the left column - By Media Type.

 - SIRS/ProQuest

     * Type in the User Name and Password (provided by your teacher/media specialist)

     * Click the orange button [My Products Page]

     * Click on SIRS Knowledge Source

     * Conduct your Search with Subject Headings or Keywords

     * Narrow your results by clicking appropriate category (i.e., Graphics/Media for images or WebSelect Sites, Newspapers, Magazines, etc for text information)

Using Google Sites:

 - Log into Gmail with Username and Password

 - At the top left bar, look for and click on Sites

 - Under My Sites, you should see the name of a site that Mrs. Lang has created and shared with you.  Click on it!
